We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Safety Manager to ensure International's adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The ideal candidate will manage various compliance-related tasks, including maintaining and updating DOT records, monitoring compliance status, and coordinating audits. This role will require strong knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with various teams to ensure the company's compliance with DOT requirements.

Responsibilities Maintain Corporate DOT information on DOT’s FMCSA portal siteManage Navistar’s driver and vehicle requirements to assure that Navistar maintains DOT compliant statusMonitor CSA Scores and assure all violations assigned to Navistar are investigated and followed up on with the driver and the driver’s supervisorSchedule and administer Navistar’s biennial DOT Mock AuditsCoordinate any DOT required Audits of Navistar documents and processesWork with Fleet Management on Vehicle preparation requirementsMonitor DOT/FMCSA Regulation updatesManage Navistar’s DOT Random Drug & Alcohol testing programChair quarterly DOT Compliance Executive Steering Committee MeetingsMaintain/Update forms as required (Drivers Logs, DVIR’s, Accident Kits, etc.)Communicate DOT compliance requirementsMaintain DOT related training recordsAdminister record retention measures for all DOT documentation Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of regulatory compliance experienceAt least 2 years of management experience
