Position Summary The Fleet Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and peak performance of The Townsend Company’s fleet operations. This position involves recovering, analyzing, and reporting data from various sources, maintaining accurate asset records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and has keen attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Essential Functions 1. Data Monitoring Recover and analyze data from telematics(GPS), dash cameras, and other driver-related data sources. Utilize GPS and company software to track assets, monitor utilization, and generate comprehensive reports. 2. Asset Management and Compliance Maintain electronic and physical asset files to ensure compliance and inspection readiness. Oversee license and title processes, including filing, renewals and ensuring proper documentation. 3. Team Support and Communication Provide support to Field Leadership by collecting feedback and ensuring adherence to HR and compliance policies. Assist with troubleshooting and problem- solving to support organizational operations. 4. Inventory and Reporting Track and report all third-party inspections using company software systems. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure supplies are properly accounted for. Compile and maintain asset historical files for reporting and reference. 5. Additional Duties: Assist with project management, documentation, and the implementation of new procedures as required. Support special projects. • Duties may or may not be subject to change Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years office experience. Skills and Competencies Works well under pressure and in a demanding environment Exceptional understanding of computer systems, specifically MS Excel. Excellent communication and people skills Meet all physical requirements of the position. Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations. 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Previous exposure to telematics and GPS technology This role is based in an office environment with occasional remote work flexibility.
