General Responsibilities
The Fleet Supervisor assists the Pool Fleet Manager in achieving departmental objectives. They are responsible for ensuring objectives are met through team execution of day to day tasks utilizing collaboration, delegation, and personal action. They will ensure tactical decisions meet the objectives of the strategic goals of the Zone and Pool.
Wage: $58,000.00 Annually
The Fleet Supervisor is a management position in which the day will be spent between an office setting and outdoors. They will perform some physical tasks outdoors, such as coordinating vehicle moves, as well as handling office-based tasks such as emails, report generation and review, and attending and hosting both in person and virtual meetings and conference calls.
While tasks and objectives of the department will remain dynamic, the main focus of the fleet department is:
Ensuring revenue opportunity is maximized by coordinating proper fleet levels, both in count and type of vehicles Ensuring vehicles are properly inventoried to promptly identify missing and non-rentable units Ensuring all vehicles have valid registration, with minimal downtime between renewals Adding vehicles to the fleet, through both pre-owned and new vehicle channels Removing vehicles from the fleet, through Hertz car sales, auctions, and various other channels Coordinating the recovering vehicles that have been impounded or stolen
Position Responsibilities Include:
Communicate and delegate daily tasks for the department Collaborate between multiple locations and interdepartmental teams to achieve goals Drive compliance, performance, efficiency, and proficiency on various objectives Review various reports relating to non-rentable units and fleet levels, and take immediate action on opportunities Monitor asset control, ensuring that current fleet is properly inventoried, and action is taken on missing vehicles Oversee organization of vehicles on lot to ensure that quick action is taken for vehicles based on their status Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the pool, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts. Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid U.S driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record 20 years of ageProfessional Experience:
