**Job Title: Fleet Manager** **Job Description** A recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings is looking to add a Fleet Manager. The candidate will be responsible for centrally managing the organization’s transportation equipment, processes, technology, and overall strategy. They will develop, enhance, and monitor corporate KPIs and other measurement systems associated with equipment, drivers, safety, maintenance, and training processes. Ensuring that all company vehicles and employees meet safety and compliance requirements, including DOT and OSHA guidelines as well as company policies, is crucial. **Responsibilities** + Manage all aspects of the organization’s fleet program, including leasing, purchases, sales, maintenance, and repair processes. + Partner closely with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, safety, and effective cost management. + Establish alternative vehicle leasing providers. + Develop programs to improve fleet efficiency, monitor KPIs, measure safety, and control costs for continuous improvement. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of experience managing commercial fleet programs. + Expertise in route planning. + Strong in supply chain management. + Subject matter expert on DOT regulations. + Proficient in developing and monitoring KPIs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with administrative support in logistics. + Knowledge of fleet management and dispatching processes. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy benefits such as PTO, paid holidays, your birthday off with pay, and jump starts.
