Job Title: Fleet Technician

Job Description

The Fleet Technician is responsible for performing repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles, including diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and automobiles. The Fleet Technician maintains the fleet according to DOT and other regulatory requirements to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all company vehicles and equipment. We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of automotive or diesel mechanic experience. Pay rates will be low to mid $30s depending on years of experience and attitude.

Work Environment

Work is completed in a distribution center in Vermont. You will be part of a team of four Fleet Technicians with one working manager, focusing on the preventative and emergency maintenance of 33 vehicles. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 AM - 6:30 PM, with no weekend work required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colchester, Vermont.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00
