Fleet Utility Mechanic

Responsibilities Major Job Elements Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles, pickups, light & medium dump trucks, etc. Hydraulic and engine repairs Air brake repairs Chassis repairs Repair of general construction equipment, air compressors, backhoes, etc. Must be able to work with minimum supervision Qualifications Qualifications Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a mechanic with at least 1 year experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems Welding and fabrication experience is preferred but not required Experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required General knowledge of computers using Microsoft Word and Excel Class A CDL license preferred Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individual with Disabilities.
