Payrate: 21-22

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Flex Security Officer will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Strong and reliable performance will earn the Officer consideration for assignment to supervisory or other leadership posts. Ideally, Officers will develop career paths to further growth within the Company. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Security Flex Officer Requirements:

18 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent  Standard computer / technology skills needed. Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, & have a strong work ethic. Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred. Customer Service background needed. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must be able to conduct foot & / OR mobile patrols throughout shift – during various weather conditions.  Must be able to stay alert & have great attention to detail.  Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.   Must have reliable means of transportation & communication.  2nd interview required  1 year of security experience preferred  Open availability needed

Flex Officer Objectives: 

Provide security for short-term security assignments.  Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, holidays, etc.  Assist in start-ups at new accounts which includes working the site & training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.  Weekend and holiday availability needed.  Provide high level customer service to our clients & their guests.  Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods.
