UPMC is hiring a flex full-time Professional Staff Nurse to join their Community and Ambulatory Surgery Center in Bethel Park! This position involves providing perioperative care for surgical patients, with a primary focus on orthopedic procedures, as well as breast and plastic surgeries. 

The nurse will be responsible for admitting and preparing ambulatory patients for their surgeries, ensuring they receive accurate and comprehensive education about the procedure and discharge instructions as well as conducting patient assessments, starting peripheral IVs, assisting anesthesia with peripheral nerve block procedures, and managing pain.  You will also collaborate with the anesthesia team, surgical team, and providers is essential to ensure an exceptional patient experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and satisfaction. 

Hours for thsi position will be Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 5:45am and 4:30pm. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required! Critical care, emergency department, or PACU experience is preferred.
