Securitas Security Services is seeking professional security officers to work as Flex officers for the RI branch office.

 The duties of a Flex Officer very from that of a typical security officer.  Officers are not assigned to a long-term schedule and provide schedule coverage for multiple sites within the client scope.

The role provides great cross-training opportunities and allows officers the opportunity to work at a verity of locations, providing direct assistance to Site Managers and support staff.

Payrate: $18.00 per hour

***Some client sites offer a higher rate of pay pending security experience and ability to meet additional client requirements – ask you recruiter!

Hour per Week:  Can vary, expect 28-40+ hours per week 

 

Flex Requirements:

18 years of age or older HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Fluency in the English language, written and verbal  Ability to work on all shifts, on all days Willingness to be on call for emergencies  Access to reliable method of communication and transportation  Valid Driver’s License  Ability to provide shift coverage to all areas within the district

Advanced Flex Roles:

Medical onboarding Travel to location in Providence and Newport  Open flexibility for scheduling  Additional mandatory training, such as CPR/First Aid, AED Requires security experience 

 

 

Typical Duties:

Access control, foot patrol indoors and out, vehicle patrol Computer use, CCTV Completing patrol points, writing daily reports or incident reports  Phone communication, radio use, etc while on client site  Provide staffing support to temporary and short term clients  Provide staffing support for new client sites until officers can be hired  Fill in during “High Needs” or emergencies for vacation requests, sick time, no shows at client sites Effectively respond to emergencies on site in accordance with site protocol  Document or troubleshoot client site issues such as mechanical failure, unsafe or hazardous conditions, or other safety concerns

 

Position Details:

Payrate $18.00  Hours per week can vary 28-40+ hours Ability to earn milage after 30 miles of travel
