Our client, a leader in software asset management and cloud solutions, is seeking a Flexera Engineer to join their team. As a Flexera Engineer, you will be part of the technology department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Flexera Engineer
**Location: Remote *** Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship**
**What's the Job?**
+ Implement and manage the Tanium Connector to enhance license reporting and replace outdated systems.
+ Conduct thorough diagnostics to resolve network issues impacting license reconciliation.
+ Lead the initial implementation of Flexera Cloud to effectively report and manage all software assets.
+ Utilize MSSQL for data formatting and mapping to ensure accurate import into cloud databases.
+ Customize user interfaces and license generators for high-profile clients, enhancing product usability and functionality.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience as a Flexnet Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful implementations and migrations.
+ Strong knowledge of Flexera products, especially Flexera Cloud, FNMS, and Flexera One.
+ Proficiency in database management (MSSQL) and data import processes.
+ Solid understanding of software development practices, particularly in Java, SQL, and web technologies.
+ Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
