Job Description

We are looking for a Flight Coordinator in our EF Education First Transportation team. You will be part of a fun, young, and fast-paced central transportation team located in our corporate office in Hong Kong.

Your skills and service is making a direct impact in the first experience of our students traveling to our schools throughout the world by developing cost-effective and safe flight solutions.

Your responsibilities.

Communicates daily with EF Sales offices.Leads individual flight reservations, including pricing and ticketing in Amadeus, using both published fare and corporate contracts to find best fare for our students.Prepare cost-effective transport solutions meeting both budget and quality targets.Works closely with all stakeholders to provide best options and find solutions for transport.Takes responsibility for airline irregularities.Launches and allocates group flight reservations.Works with internal flight inventory systems and financial systems.Further develop themselves with internal and external trainings.

 

The ideal Flight Coordinator

Possesses exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.Is outgoing, flexible, proactive and professional who cares about our studentsIs deadline-driven and a self-motivated problem solver.Enjoys challenges and adopts a ‘nothing is impossible’ mindset.Has a bachelor’s degree.Brings a minimum of 2 years of working experience within either travel industry, transport/logistics or operations.Has an excellent spoken and written English. Other language skills are always appreciated.Has experience working or studying in an international environment.Previous GDS experience (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.) is an advantage.
