FLIGHT DECK Digital Analytics and Insights Lean Leader
**Job Description Summary** Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools by partnering with Operating Leaders in business management roles (e.g. GM of Business Unit, or Executive Lead of a Function). Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics. May also be roles that are part of Corporate or Business Unit Kaizen Promotion Offices (KPO). **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Lead the Strategic vision, roadmap and execution of the FLIGHT DECK operations team analytics and insights. + Support the FLIGHT DECK operations team by focusing on appropriate data analytical solutions (predictive, machine learning, and artificial intelligence) to optimize operations. + Design and implement robust analytical solutions, dashboards, and key reports that drive enhanced FLIGHT DECK operating cadence, monitor progress against priorities and KPIs. + Support FLIGHT DECK operational leaders in addressing critical and complex business challenges by conducting deep-dive analysis, presenting findings, and recommendations to senior leaders. + Lead the advancement and digitization of FLIGHT DECK fundamental capabilities, focusing on predictive analytics and AI to optimize. + Design the infrastructure and analytic **a** l approach to support all FLIGHT DECK coaches’ maturity participating in coaching continuum pathways. + Align with GE Aerospace listening strategy to extrapolate employee engagement data and deliver actionable insights that can improve the FLIGHT DECK operating model. Also, support the FLIGHT DECK coaches listening strategy. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, IT, finance, and quality, to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. + Develop partnerships with IT and HR analytical teams to collaborate on solutions, standard development, and prioritization of data sources and/or new tools and technologies in the application of various analytics (applied, predictive, and prescriptive). + Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital analytics and lean manufacturing, incorporating best practices into the FLIGHT DECK model. + Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all analytics solutions, adhering to the highest standards of data governance and compliance. + Lead the build out of a continuous feedback mechanism for all tools to ensure they are fit for purpose and effectively delivering actionable insights. + Develop partnerships with industry experts and vendors as required to ensure aligned and strategic execution of vision/benchmarking. + Ensure compliance with all GE company policies and regulations. + Lead the build out an ongoing education and awareness program across the FLIGHT DECK team to maximize uptake of tools and drive more self-service and eliminating manual waste and duplication. + Ensure strong consultative partnership to FLIGHT DECK team, Finance partners, HR partners, and DT partners to continuously improve and scale delivery of services. Ensure capture of business needs to inform Analytics & Insights design and outcomes. **Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of digital analytics, data science, machine learning experience + Strong analytical skills, with expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data visualization tools. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems with large data sets. + Ability to set strategic technology vision and operationalize the vision into an execution plan/roadmap. + Proven ability to develop strategy and drive change in an effective and participative manner. + Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels in a Global organization. + Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task and highly matrixed environment, and connect effectively with business leaders and executives. + Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. + Ability to build effective partnerships and foster a collaborative operating environment. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization. + Ability to travel up to 25%. **Desired Experience:** + Experience with big data technologies, machine learning algorithms, and cloud computing platforms. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
