Summary: Seeking a Final Line Avionics Checkout Technician with extensive experience in aircraft avionics systems for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with technical training/experience in AC, DC, Digital, Analog, Pulse, Comm/Nav, and Pitot/Static Systems.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in the aircraft field.
Must have required tools.
Able to work on maintenance stands extending to 25 feet.
Able to work in confined spaces and unusual positions.
Able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
Able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Skills:
Understand various electrical and avionics systems by different manufacturers.
Proficient in using a wide assortment of test equipment and tooling.
Knowledgeable in electrical and digital theories.
Capable of interpreting Engineering documentation, diagrams, and schematics.
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, charts, and schematics.
Perform maintenance tasks on avionics systems as per guidelines.
Use test equipment for troubleshooting various avionic issues.
Occasionally travel as required.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
