Flight Mechanic II (UH-60 Crew Chief - FI)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:\n\nTyonek Services Group is providing full on-site \/ off-site maintenance flight\/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.\nAreas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.\n\n

DUTIES:\n\nMust be able to perform Instructor duties of Flight Instructor.\nMust be qualified as an Aircraft Mechanic Level II. \nMeet all requirements, as a non-rated crewmember IAW with service guidance for specific design, type, series aircraft which duties are to be performed. \nPerform all duties and responsibilities as a crew-chief. \nPerform in-flight duties and assists the pilots, consistent with established Service or FAA standards. \nOther duties as assigned\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nFAA A&P license preferred or must have completed a military aircraft repairer school for H-60 series or UH-72\nMinimum of 7 years' experience in Army aviation maintenance or 4 years of verifiable RDT&E experience in rotary wing aircraft Army Aviation maintenance is required\nMust have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience\nMust hold a valid, current FAA or military Class III Medical Certificate, as prescribed by the Government.\nMust meet minimum flight hour requirements as crew- chief as specified in AR 95-20.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen \nMust have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance\n\n

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
