As a Flight Safety Lean Operations Leader you will coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools by partnering with Operating Leaders in business management roles (e.g. GM of Business Unit, or Executive Lead of a Function). Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics. May also be roles that are part of Corporate or Business Unit Kaizen Promotion Offices (KPO).Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Lead and Execute the Lean Transformation within manufacturing lines to achieve Operating goals using KPI-based performance management.Coach and Collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions including Operators, Support Staff, and the Leadership Team to help progress our Lean Culture and drive Continuous ImprovementBe a Champion of Kaizen and Facilitate Kaizen Events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S and Single-Piece Flow.Teach, Promote, and Practice the Systematic Approach to Lean @ GE and build Kaizen capability.Participate in Daily Management process including daily management meetings, Genba walks and Kata coaching cycles.Coach teams using the Kata process to drive daily Rapid Experiments and Problem Solving in a systematic way.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or related sciences from an accredited university or college Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations and /or TrainingDesired Characteristics
