Float LPN, Towson (Days)

As a Float Nurse (LPN) you will: 

Support at least two service lines. Provide additional and/or relief coverage as indicated by staff shortage or patient status in varying patient care areas. Provide professional patient care for assigned patient population. Collect patient data and participate in treatment planning. Administer medications and medical treatment as prescribed by physician. Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

Requires:

Graduation from an accredited program of nursing and at least 2 years of inpatient nursing experience; experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred. Must possess current license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in the State of Maryland (or must have license by time of hire). Work requires ability to physically intervene in medical and behavioral emergencies, transport patients, and lift patients. All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment. 

What we need from you.

Must hold current registered nurse (RN) licensure to practice in Maryland at the time of appointment and maintain licensure throughout the duration of employment. Candidates residing in a compact state may apply with a multistate license and must obtain a Maryland RN license within 60 days of relocation. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
