Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Floater NA/CNA at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. As a Floater Caregiver, you will play a versatile role, providing crucial care and support for our senior clients. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to be available at any time when assigned. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with their personal care needs, ensuring their comfort and preserving their dignity. Help clients manage their medications by providing reminders and support. Monitor clients' health closely and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor. Maintain accurate records of all care provided and document any observations or concerns. Provide companionship, emotional support, and a listening ear to clients, promoting their well-being. Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and running errands. Create a safe and clean environment that promotes the overall safety and well-being of clients. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, their families, and the healthcare team. Be flexible and available to work at varying assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Drive to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities. Perform a wide range of tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client. Quickly adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities to provide the best possible care.Requirements:
Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii. Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule. Demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. Have the ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize tasks. Successfully complete a background check and drug screening. Possess a strong work ethic and show dependability. Be capable of adapting to various tasks and environments. Have outstanding communication skills.Benefits:
