**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Weekend Shift **Description:** PT Weekends - Saturday & Sunday (7a-3p) St. Paul’s Assisted Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Floor Care Technician** to ensure our facility’s floors and common areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care, including cleaning, buffing, waxing, and carpet maintenance, and will play a key role in providing a welcoming and sanitary environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine and deep cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and polishing. + Maintain carpets through vacuuming, spot cleaning, shampooing, and extraction as needed. + Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, extractors, and auto scrubbers. + Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. + Ensure hallways, dining areas, resident rooms, and common areas meet cleanliness and infection control standards. + Assist housekeeping staff with general cleaning tasks as needed. + Monitor and report any floor damage, safety hazards, or necessary repairs to the supervisor. + Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and request replacements when necessary. + Adhere to all facility policies, health and safety guidelines, and state and federal regulations. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous experience in floor care or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment. + Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and proper use of cleaning chemicals. + Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. + Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and operate heavy cleaning equipment for extended periods. + Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed. **What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?** + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + **Up to $4,000 in tuition reimbursement annually!** + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Day 1 Benefits - Low cost medical, dental and vision insurance plans.
