As a Floor Manager, you're responsible for managing daily operations of a Distribution Center to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goals. 

This is an on-site, 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am) position based out of our Romeoville, IL Distribution Center. 


A day in the life as a Floor Manager 

Manage effective labor plans to ensure proper staffing levels according to budgets for overtime, full-time and temporary laborEnsure productivity measurement standards are metIdentify and resolves critical distribution issues for inbound and outbound processesParticipate in the interviewing and hiring process for distribution center associatesPerform safety observations in conjunction with job observations to coach and counsel associates on proper safety proceduresLead investigations for safety incidents and injuries by performing root cause analysis to remove future potential safety hazards\Oversee and implement company and OSHA guidelines and programs to contribute to a safe working environment for all associatesServe a backup for other floor managers as necessaryParticipate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position

What you’ll bring to the table…

Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management SystemComputer skills, proficiency with Google applications, MS Word & ExcelStrong time management, organizational, planning skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
