POSITION SUMMARY: The Floor Planner works cross-functionally, ensuring store layouts for new, remodel, and brand realignments meet corporate standards. Delivers quality control measures for execution of merchandise plans, dictated by ULTA strategic visions. The Floor Planner maintains merchandise plans for full-chain using Blue Yonder Floor Planning software. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assign and merchandise planogram-store assignments for all brand realignments, new & remodels doors, and special projects in Blue Yonder Floor Planning. Monitor accuracy of 1350 floor plans by using extensive validation reports in CKB, Excel and Access. Provide quality control measures for data to feed to SWIFT, MIA, DOM, Pricing and SAP. Provide cross functional partners space management criteria including in depth planogram assignment reviews for specific categories. Engage merchant and space planning team with pre-planning deliverables, including store-pog assignments,recommended brand flow adjacencies, and space analytics. Manage a library of prototypical store layouts and criteria as required by the volume for new, re-modeled and/or existing stores by following clear concise criteria discussed with Merchant leadership. Design templates with consideration for brand image, space allocation, brand adjacencies and guest experience. Create and maintain department lines for 1350 Floor Plans for performance/profitability analytics. Provide recommendations for Floor-POG assignments based on floor plan heat maps. Provide What’s Changed Add/Delete Report, Department Matrix-Footage Grids Build walking order merchandise layouts as required for store set executions and pricing/graphic strip orders REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong in Excel(Vlookup and Pivot Tables required) Familiarity in Autocad 2020, Blue Yonder Floor Planning or other category management software Familiarity with Planograms and Store Merchandise Maps Familiarity with Microsoft Access Retail experience in a multi-unit specialty chain required Superior organizational abilities Expected 40 hour work week with quarterly visits to local stores and occasional visits to stores in other markets PREFERRED OR SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Supervisory and leadership capabilities Ability to drive projects and manage project teams Problem solving & troubleshooting capabilities Ability to analyze store performance metrics ABOUT At Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA), the possibilities are beautiful.
