Job Summary:
Maintain specified common areas of assigned building, to include but not limited to, general custodial responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High School or GED, preferred
Experience
Prior janitorial experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration
None
Other
Ability to work for periods of time without direct supervision.
Knowledge of, or willing to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to janitorial duties.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to perform duties that frequently require bending and lifting.
Responsible for following and ensuring that all safety rules are followed and that appropriate safety equipment is used.

Buffing, striping, and waxing floors.
Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
Waste removal and general cleaning.
Pulling trash from containers in restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other areas as assigned.
Assist in set-up and teardown of tables and chairs for pre- and post- facility events.
