Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning. The technician will also operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces. This role requires performing maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types, as well as ensuring proper procedures for carpet and upholstering care. Other duties will be assigned by the manager.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance.Use proper procedures for hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstering care, including shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
This position is onsite at a local hospital. Shifts available include 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm. The schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, but flexibility is needed for potential weekend work as required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
