Florida Land Acquisition Support Specialist _ Remote
Description ICF is growing and is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Land Acquisition Support Specialist** to join our team. This role will be integral to the successful acquisition of real property, including but not limited to conservation easements, fee simple, agricultural easements, and other deed restrictions, providing support throughout the acquisition process. You will coordinate with surveyors, appraisal companies, title companies, and other professionals while assisting the Program Manager with a variety of administrative and operational duties. If you have experience in land acquisition, agricultural land, conservation easements, or real estate, along with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply. **This position is Remote with up to 25% travel.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide real estate support for acquisitions. + Support the establishment and maintenance of written policies, procedures, job aids, checklists and other tools necessary to oversee and implement acquisitions. + Interact with project staff, clients, local officials, and sub-vendors to coordinate acquisition efforts. + Gather, scan, store, and maintain all hard copy and automated files and other required information in electronic databases and systems, in strict accordance with established policies and procedures, and ensure all required notices are documented in program files. + Review and verify all supporting documentation required for the closing of conservation easements. + Drive progress on acquisitions following a defined process flow and deadlines. + Provide tracking and reporting information on acquisition activity. + Please provide a resume that clearly identifies how you meet the experience, skills and responsibilities of this job description.  **Minimum Qualifications:** + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Real Estate, Environmental Studies, Agriculture, or Business Administration) + 5+ Years of experience working as logistics/operations coordinator. + 2+ experience with land acquisitions, including working with surveyors, appraisal companies, title companies, and other relevant professionals to facilitate real estate closings. **Preferred Skills/ Experience:** + Applicable certifications or licenses (e.g., real estate agent, broker’s license) + Familiarity with real estate terminology, and legal document review. + Experience in the fields of agricultural land preservation or conservation easements + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Working at ICF** ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
