Our client is looking for a passionate and skilled Grower to join their team and contribute to the cultivation of stunning blooms in Oxnard, CA. You'll play a vital role in nurturing their plants from seed to harvest, ensuring optimal growth and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire cultivation process, from planting to harvesting.Monitor plant health and implement effective pest and disease control strategies.Develop and execute irrigation and nutrient management plans to maximize plant growth.Maintain optimal environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and light levels.Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues.Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.Track and analyze cultivation data to optimize processes and improve yields.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainable farming practices.Lead and mentor a team of growers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in commercial flower production or a similar agricultural setting.In-depth knowledge of plant physiology, pest management, and soil science.Strong understanding of greenhouse operations and environmental control systems.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding outdoor environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with hydroponic or aeroponic cultivation systems.Knowledge of sustainable and organic farming practices.Proficiency in agricultural software and data analysis tools.
