As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will develop, manage, and execute test plans and procedures as part of the Rocket Park Production Test Team. You will have ownership of fluids systems for ground support equipment and testing of various space vehicle fluids systems.
You will develop test methods, operate ground support equipment, and author and execute test procedures to efficiently complete integrated fluids system testing for multiple test campaigns. You will be coordinating and directing test crews and ground support equipment while establishing vehicle configurations for testing throughout vehicle production as well as managing and supervising a small team of technicians during test setups, checkouts, and teardowns.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test procedures of the vehicle fluids subsystems against program requirements.Develop test methods to efficiently complete integrated system testing.Assist in fluids support equipment design, budgeting, procurement, verification, and integration.Maintain fluids test equipment configuration control, calibration, and traceabilityWrite test procedures and manage procedural red lines and updates during test campaignsManage vendors to design and fabricate fluids test equipment/GSEIntegrate testing and operability features into new vehicle designsParticipate in gated design and test readiness reviewsDefine and perform facility activation tests of fluids subsystemsManage overall responsibility for the test, the team, and the procedure executionMaintain and operate pneumatic hardware and/or control softwareEnforce safety policies during test planning and operationsTroubleshoot anomalies real time and provide solutions during non-conformance scenariosReduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasksWhile this position is based in Florida, there is some travel to Kent, WA (10%) to work with design and other test engineersQualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering or related fieldBackground in space vehicle testing, fluids support equipment & fluids ground systems developmentExperience with developing, writing, and executing test procedures for servicing or leak-checking GN2, GO2, and/or GHe, systemsA strong safety recordLeading test teams as a Test Conductor or Test EngineerExperience reading P&ID schematics/layout designsExperience developing fluids systems installation and checkout proceduresVehicle high-pressure systems and testingMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Inclusivity Statement
