**Job Title: Flux Core Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Flux Core Welders with the ability to read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams. Candidates must pass a 2G and 3G FCAW weld test and possess the capability to perform layout, position, align, fit, clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to achieve the required preparation, configuration, and/or position for welding. Experience of at least 2-4 years in vertical and horizontal welding positions is required. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams. + Pass a 2G and 3G FCAW weld test. + Perform layout, position, align, fit, clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required preparation, configuration, and/or position for welding. + Handle materials as needed by hand, overhead crane, forklift, or other handling equipment. + Operate various types of automatic, semi-automatic, or manual welding equipment using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and submerged arc welding. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams. + Experience in passing 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests. + Proficiency in performing layout, position, align, fit, clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts for welding. + Experience welding in vertical and horizontal positions. + Capability to handle materials using various equipment. + Proficiency in operating various welding equipment using different welding processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be able to lift 50lbs. + Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb, and carry various materials/equipment. **Why Work Here?** Competitive pay rates with room for growth, several different health plans, dental and vision coverage are also available.
