Job Description
We are currently seeking Flux-core welders to fabricate heavy-duty equipment from start to finish. This is a comprehensive fabricating position that requires welding mild steel from 1/4\" to 3\" thick. Candidates will be welding and fabricating to produce excavators used in construction settings. You will be welding industrial buckets for backhoes, performing multiple passes on your welds.
ResponsibilitiesFabricate heavy-duty equipment from start to finish.Weld mild steel from 1/4\" to 3\" thick.Produce excavators used in construction settings.Weld industrial buckets for backhoes, performing multiple passes.Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in heavy gauge Flux-Core welding.Proficiency with .030 & .045 wire.Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.Strong skills in blueprint reading.Experience with structural steel welding and fabrication.Competence in using welding tools and equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have own tools and welding helmet.Experience in MIG welding is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our Client has over 20 work stations, including a separate building for mechanical assembly and painting. They have overhead cranes for lifting heavy materials and a strict safety culture. This is not a production welding shop; they make custom buckets for large industrial applications, railroad cars, and structural beams, with the process taking place from start to finish at specific stations.
