ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the engineering department, learning both risk and financial/valuation assessments for existing and prospective clients.
Learn the basics of occupancy and risk assessment skills.
Document the engineering assessment for underwriters for risk selection purposes.
Evaluate large loss exposures and document their potential impact to FM Affiliated.
Assist in planning and facilitating external broker events focused on risk assessment and loss prevention.
This will be a challenging yet rewarding experience that will also allow you to enhance your networking and communication skills.
QualificationsJunior or Senior grudation date spring 2026.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license and basic working knowledge of Windows software applications such as MS Word & Excel.
Mathematical aptitude with the ability to resolve numerical miscalculations.
Sound organizational skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
