CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to join the team located in Ireland.
The successful candidate will hold full accountability for the engineering standards across multiple sites, ensuring high quality service delivery and front facing services at the client facilities.
**Role Summary:**
+ Ensure compliance within country legislation in terms of statutory maintenance, health, safety and environmental management.
+ Deliver planned preventative maintenance activities to plan.
+ Review quotations for the procurement of additional works within “your" authorised limits.
+ Ensure all backlog work orders and assignments are completed.
+ Carry out inspections and technical audits of operational delivery.
+ Carry out inspections of assets and systems with a view to identifying single point of failures (SPOF’s), equipment end of life and component breakdown.
+ Compliance across multiple sites ensuring all internal and external audit actions are closed out within specified target dates
+ Work collaboratively with project management to facilitate seamless handovers of capital works
+ Participate in the account critical services network, to ensure consistency of delivery and best practice
+ Responsible for keeping the M&E asset data base up to date.
+ Responsible for maintaining condition survey information current.
+ Responsible for condition survey and populating the forward maintenance data base.
+ Work collaboratively with the customer’s IT teams.
+ Work collaboratively with the central CB Richard Ellis energy management team.
+ Attend client meetings for facilities managers.
+ Assure contingency plans are in place for emergencies, including approved business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, service disruption notification processes and crisis management processes.
+ Understand and comply with Site safety rules/requirements.
+ Follow proper procedure and conduct Incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis including regulatory response and reporting.
+ Responsible for Multi-client locations within Ireland
+ Ensure ongoing and required training (PPE, LOTO, Confined Space) is conducted and completed by all team members.
+ Support Site Budget Management by driving Operational control through Metrics Management
+ Deliver services based on contract scope of work with full understanding of the scope variances by site.
+ Ensure knowledge of Supplier contract terms, scope of work and performance specification
+ Ensure PO’s are raised and processed in compliance with GWS policy
**Experience Required:**
+ Full, clean Drivers Licence.
+ Minimum 10 years’ experience in Building Services industry with strong related experience in FM operations
+ [Essential] At least two years at a similar management level or equivalent.
+ Environmental Health & Safety industry recognised qualification.
+ People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, particularly comfortable in a Blue-Chip Corporate environment.
+ Strong influencing, communication and presentational skills aligned with good commercial acumen.
+ Excellent knowledge of the operation of Mechanical & Electrical Services and plant
+ Excellent knowledge of current FM & Engineering statutory compliance legislation
+ Audit-Working knowledge of engineering and compliance responsibilities in support of Auditing obligations.
+ Ability to interrogate and operate BMS’s systems.
+ Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services, HV & AC and Water Systems Treatment
+ Knowledge of business-critical services i.e. UPS and Comms Rooms etc
+ Formulating, Assessing and Validating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
+ Experience of managing contracts, writing and operating to processes and procedures
+ CMMS experience, WO Management Process {preferred}
+ Sound understanding of current legislation, environmental and quality related issues, including sustainability and its impact on energy.
+ Working closely with the engineering team you should ensure that for Specialist Service Provider (SSP) visits have prepared and approved Standard Operating Procedures/ PTW.

**Education**
+ Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical discipline in Building Services Engineering
+ Apprenticeship (or equivalent programme) in Electrical / Mechanical Building Services Engineering
+ IOSH or NEBOSH Managing Safely
+ [Desirable] HV authorised person
