Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Cyber Security Co-Op with a strong focus on configuring and managing the OpenCTI platform to aggregate IT/OT Threat Intelligence. In this role, you will align threat intelligence data with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and integrate Open-Source Threat Intelligence feeds. You will also create monthly reports highlighting attack trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a student with a solid foundation in networking and cyber security to gain hands-on experience and further develop their skills.

 

Responsibilities: As a Cyber Security Intern, your main responsibilities will include:

Configuring the OpenCTI platform to aggregate IT/OT Threat Intelligence.Aligning threat intelligence data with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.Integrating Open-Source Threat Intelligence feeds into OpenCTI.Creating and presenting monthly reports highlighting attack trends.Documenting configurations and processes for future reference.Collaborating with the team to enhance threat intelligence capabilities. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and working towards a degree in cyber security, computer science, or a related fieldSolid understanding of networking concepts.Experience and knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.Familiarity with OpenCTI and threat intelligence platforms.Familiarity with open-source intelligence tools.Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We understand that this is a co-op position, but we expect candidates to have a strong foundation in networking and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, as well as the ability to write comprehensive reports.
