Overview The FME Analyst role automates data transformation using FME workbenches and Python scripts. You will troubleshoot data errors, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders. Responsibilities Configure FME workbenches to automate spatial and non-spatial data transformation tasks. Develop and maintain Python scripts to enhance FME workflows and functionalities. Review and troubleshoot FME errors, identifying and correcting data quality issues. Perform thorough Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks on transformed data. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop efficient data processing solutions. Document FME workbenches and scripts for future reference and knowledge sharing. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FME and geospatial technologies. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with FME in creating and maintaining workbenches. Proven ability to write Python scripts to automate and customize FME workflows. Strong understanding of spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabases, rasters) and non-spatial data sources (e.g., spreadsheets, databases). Experience with data validation techniques and quality control procedures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
