Position Overview:

We have a full-time School Social Worker opening with our partner school in Brighton! This Middle School focused position will cover a FMLA from the end of March through the end of the school year. During this time, the social worker will utilize a large private office, be able to meet with the current clinician to make for smooth transition and be responsible for managing a caseload of 50 middle 7th and 8th grade students.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
Compensation: Hourly pay $45-$60/hr. based on experience
Location:  Brighton, MI

Job Responsibilities:

Manage caseload through social, emotional, and academic enrichment programsAdvocate for the emotional, social, and academic wellbeing of studentsProvide counseling (1:1, small group, whole group) to MTSS students Address legal issuesCollaboration with full time social worker, other staff, families, and community resourcesImplement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student safety and success

Qualifications:

School Social Worker Requirements:Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social WorkLMSW license eligible in the State of MichiganSchool Social Work Approval Form (sw310).Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
