FMS Case Manager - Position Description

We have immediate hire openings for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Manager to support NAVSEA PMS 326 Program Office at Washing Navy Yards, Washington, DC, who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Position requires knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System and demonstrated skills in managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office; product life cycle management; project team management; and preparing acquisition and contracting documents.  The case manager is accountable for all aspects of FMS cases assigned, this includes planning and execution functions as well as all financial, logistical, and acquisition matters associated with each program.  The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case manager's responsibilities include:

FMS case management - Execute Foreign Military Sales acquisition management support. Assists with preparation and staffing Milestone documentation. Assist in acquisition planning and assess cost, schedule and performance risk. Program recommendations Prioritizing work to meet program objectives, recommending approaches for policy implementation, and developing command positions. Assist with development and drafting of FMS Strategies, Plans and other programmatic documents. Financial analysis   Supporting financial analysis for Navy FMS cases and maintaining proficiency in Navy Systems. Assist in maintaining and managing the program budget and FMS case management. Contribute subject matter expertise involving the sale of U.S. Navy programs and equipment to foreign Allies Communication Coordinating with NAVSEA CM supporting NAVSEA inter-agency divisions and working groups and providing briefings and reports to stakeholders.  Coordinate products and taskings across the FMS product acquisition process and life cycle phases. Assist with determining contracting strategy, and coordinate activities with NAVSEA CM and support activities. Participate in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations Assist in providing FMS case monitoring for assigned country support

Experiences:

        Minimum of 4 years of work experience. Familiarity with Acquisition and Contracting documents/processes. Thorough knowledge of and experience with DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System.

Education:

        Bachelor’s Degree

 Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Prior experience supporting a Navy FMS product delivery program management office requirements
