This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret clearance. This position is contingent upon contract funding award and customer approval.

 

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other teams to deliver quality program and administrative support to develop, manage, and close FMS cases to support the modernization, repair, and sustainment of former USN, USCG, and foreign naval vessels.  The team has been recognized by the Navy for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

 

In this role, you will:

Conduct research and analysis for the development of Price and Availability (P&A) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA)Provide supporting documentation for implementation, execution, reconciliation, and closure of FMS casesProvide data for briefs and reports including case, RSN, PDLI summaries, Program Management Review (PMR) documentation and presentation materials/briefs, and country correspondenceDraft letters, correspondence, documentation for multiple customer/country FMS cases at the Case Manager's directionTranscribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and prepare action items. Track action item status and completion prior to follow-on meetings Develop and maintain key Navy documents, descriptive summaries, master plans, and plans of actions and milestones (POAM)Organize hard copy and/or electronic files, correspondence, records and reportsLead the tracking of acquisition, financial, technical and/or contracting itemsRoute or answer routine correspondenceInteract frequently with Navy and civilian personnelPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is requiredA U.S. DoD ACTIVE SECRET clearance is required and is a condition for continued employmentThis position is contingent upon contract funding and customer approval10% travel required

Additional desired experience and skills:

Knowledge of shipbuilding (acquisition, design, production, test and trials) is preferredExperience with the various ex-USN/USCG ship classes and their associated systems currently in service in foreign navies is preferredExperience directly supporting NAVSEA preferredFamiliarity and experience with ITAR, FCPA, and other regulations, laws, and additional requirements associated with international work is preferredExperience with DSAMS, MISIL, and SAMM is preferredExperience working directly with foreign military and foreign government personnel is preferredAn understanding of NAVSEA, other U.S. Navy organizations, and supporting organizational processes, roles, and responsibilities is preferredProficiency in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and proceduresSkills and abilities to collect information, data, and technical specificationsRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerform a variety of complicated tasksExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage, track, and prioritize many diverse and changing requirements and tasksAbility to interact with customers and provide input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverablesSkills and capabilities to produce and deliver comprehensive reporting to external and internal stakeholders, including government, executive, and foreign personnelKnowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functionsSkilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Company Overview
