This position supervises daily food operations within an area of the park, including quick service locations, bars, carts, and special events._ _Benefits:_ + _3 weeks paid vacation which increases with tenure (6 sick days, 8 paid holidays)_ + _Several medical coverage options to fit your needs best_ + _401K match_ + _FREE entry to ALL our parks and water parks!_ _Perks:_ + _Complimentary tickets for friends and family_ + _Discounts on food and park merchandise_ + _Full-time associate events and gatherings_ Responsibilities: _Responsibilities:_ + _Assists with overall operation of the food division._ + _Implements, controls and coordinates food policies, procedures and financial goals to include: handbooks, training and motivation, communication, cost of sales, per cap, labor costs, and other expenses._ + _Ensures minor labor law compliance with all minor associates._ + _Ensures food locations are in compliance with department of agriculture regulations, ABC and safety regulations._ + _Maintains appropriate staffing levels and develops and implements employee retention programs to increase morale and productivity._ + _Selects, trains, supervises and directs seasonal area supervisors._ + _Ensures service, quality and integrity standards are maintained throughout division._ + _Ensures proper inventory and point of sale controls._ + _Develops and monitors operating budget on an ongoing basis._ + _All other responsibilities assigned._ Qualifications: **_Qualifications:_** + _Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities._ _•3-5 years of food and beverage/kitchen operations experience_ + _3-5 years supervisory experience_ _•Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment and deliver against set goals._ Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is an equal opportunity employer.
