What will I be doing?
As a Food and Beverage Cashier, you would be responsible for totaling and processing guest food and beverage purchases in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nGreet and acknowledge guests upon check-out from dining outlet\nAccurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards\nAscertain guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns, enlisting the assistance of a supervisor, if necessary\nRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nPreparing and serving beverages: Baristas make and serve coffee, espresso, and other coffee-based drinks. They also follow recipes and presentation guidelines. \nGuest service: Baristas greet guests, take orders, and interact with guests. They should have excellent service skills.\nMaintaining a clean and organized workspace: Baristas keep their work area clean and sanitized.\nManaging inventory: Baristas check stock levels and place new orders.\nFollowing policies and procedures: Baristas should be aware of and follow operational policies and procedures.
