The Good Eating Company is seeking a Food and Beverage General Manager – in Irvine, California. Our Client has created an exceptional apartment community that sets a new standard in living. This location is a unique blend of three services: Café Bistro, Convenience Market and Bar this contemporary apartment community is intentionally designed to not only live but to thrive.  We are seeking a dynamic and energetic manager who is focused on elevating the guest experience. 

 

Position Summary: 

As The Food and Beverage General Manager, you will play an integral role in the successful execution of our unique site experiences. In this role, you will be accountable for executing client operations plans, lead a team and collaborate with customers to continuously improve service standards ensuring the seamless delivery of our services. The ideal candidate is an organized and effective leader with a passion for hospitality, culinary and affinity for operational efficiency with a background in hotel or resorts. The Food and Beverage General Manager will have oversight for both front and back of house; to include retail/food/bar/catering/ coffee service, superb guest relations abilities are the key to success of this new operation.  We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast and frequently changing environment. This position will be responsible for all culinary operations and standards in the kitchen, ensuring food safety for our guests and a safe environment for our team members.

 

Unit Responsibilities: 

 

Café Bistro : 

Oversee and manage the Café operations, including documentation, SOPs, staffing, equipment, and activations Provide hands-on operational support to customers

 

Convenience Market:

Oversee and manage the convenience market and continually sourcing new and unique products to create the retail experienceContinuously refine operational procedures to elevate standards and ensure flawless performance

 

Bar : 

Oversees the staff and manages day-to-day operations of the bar by making sure it’s clean, functioning efficiently and inviting for customers Market the daily, weekly, and monthly food and beverage promotions

 

Coffee :

Oversees the preparing and serving coffeeManaging Baristas to help take orders, preparing beverages and providing timely service to customers

What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience  

Basic Management Experience - 5 years
