The vibrant Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale is seeking their next Food and Beverage Manager!
\nThis 364 room hotel boasts almost 13,000 square feet of meeting space with an iconic sky-lit tropical atrium, flexible ballrooms for up to 570 guests, and indoor-outdoor venues.
\nIn this role, you will be overseeing both Front of the house and back of the house of the Restaurant, banquets, Breakfast, and Happy Hour - Manager's Reception. You will report directly to the Executive Chef and will oversee a total of 10-12 team members per shift
\nThe ideal candidate for this role will be a driven, hands on, engaging leader with 2-3 years of Food and Beverage leadership experience. Hotel management experience is a plus!
\nShift Pattern: Varies - open availability is required
\nPay Range: $60,000 - $62,000

\n\nDirects and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. \nPlans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs. \nEnsures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. \nHelps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.\nWhat are we looking for?
