The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the Starbucks operation within the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, coordinating with other departments, and driving sales through innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:  

\n\n\n

 

\n\n\n\nTeam Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise the Starbucks staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment. \n\n\n\n\nOperational Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and adherence to health and safety standards. \n\n\n\n\nInventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability. \n\n\n\n\nCustomer Engagement: Foster a welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests to enhance their experience, addressing any concerns promptly. \n\n\n\n\nFinancial Performance: Monitor sales trends and financial performance, prepare reports and develop strategies to increase revenue. Establishing and maintaining effective controls for food, beverage, and labor expenses \n\n\n\n\nQuality Assurance: Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, and service consistency in line with Starbucks and Hilton brand standards. \n\n\n\n\nCross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the hotel management and other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. \n\n\n\n\nService Initiatives: Service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service   \n\n\n\n\nAdministrative Management: Responsible for administrative tasks and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite \n\n\n\n

Ideal Qualifications: 

\n\n\n

Experience: 

\n\n\n\nMinimum of 2 years of management experience preferably in the food and beverage industry. \n\n\n\n\nProven experience in a cafe and coffee house environment or familiarity with these operations is highly desirable. \n\n\n\n

Leadership Skills: 

\n\n\n\nStrong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams. \n\n\n\n\nExperience in recruitment, training, and performance management. \n\n\n\n

Financial Acumen: 

\n\n\n\nSolid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. \n\n\n\n\nExperience in achieving sales targets and managing operational expenses. \n\n\n\n

Customer Service Focus: 

\n\n\n\nExceptional customer service skills with a commitment to creating a welcoming and positive environment for guests. \n\n\n\n

Communication Skills: 

\n\n\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences. \n\n\n\n

Problem-Solving Ability: 

\n\n\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. \n\n\n\n

Operational Knowledge: 

\n\n\n\nFamiliarity with inventory management, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards. \n\n\n\n

Technical Proficiency: 

\n\n\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems. \n\n\n\n

Flexibility: 

\n\n\n\nAvailability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. \n\n\n\n

This combination of qualifications and experience will help ensure that the General Manager can lead the team effectively and maintain high standards.

Salary Range: $74,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
