Our nautically-inspired 5-star hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars. We are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisor to become part of our professional and hard-working Hilton Auckland team. This role will be crafting unforgettable guest experiences from sips on fresh barista coffee and take in our Bar and Restaurant's waterfront views by day. As the lights dim, enjoying a cocktail or a glass of champagne over dinner while sitting seaside by night!

What will I be doing?

\n

This role involves: 

\n\nSupervise Food and Beverage Outlet operations\nCommunicate and delegate tasks to the team\nEnsure compliance of brand standards\nManage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner\nRepresent needs of the team\nAssist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets\nAssist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members\nAssist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility\nComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation\nAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships\n\n

What are we looking for?

\n

The successful candidate for this role will bring:

\n\nFriendly, positive, energetic commitment to delivering exceptional guest service\nPrevious 5-star hotel experience within the Food & Beverage department\nExperience in different F&B outlets - Banqueting, Restaurant, and Bar\nFulltime and flexible availability - able to work weekends and public holidays too\nExperience in POS ordering systems and cashing up\nStock taking\nPrevious working experience in a supervising or leading role\nGood communication skills in English \n\n

It will be beneficial if you maintain the following:

\n\nCompleted a bar tendering course, for example, EBS\nIn possession of WSET\nIn possession of LCQ or managers certificate \n\n
