As an essential part of the Food andBeverage department, you’llwork with the Training team! Here, you will be responsible for conducting training classes for all new associates, as well as returning associates.

Job Status/Type:Seasonal

Position Level:Trainer

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Typical Work Schedule

3 – 5 days a weekShifts can vary based on business needs and holidays

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Carowinds F&B Training team, your daily assigned duties would be as follows:

Trains seasonal associates at all levels. Reports staffing updates to department leadership team. Administer ServSafe Safe Food Handler course upon associate completion of Orientation.Administer ServSafe Safe Alcohol course upon associate completion of Department Training.Conduct Associate training according to the guidelines provided.Will approve all shifts related to associate training, which will include input if necessary.Update associate records with training information immediately upon completion of trainings.Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:Must pass ServSafe: Food Handler, Food Manager, and ABC courses as well as obtain the status of proctor and instructor for the food courses
Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to learn other software programsMust possess communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
