We will be hosting a Food and Nutrition Services Hiring Event for NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island on Monday, October 28th, 2024 10:00AM-1:30PM at our Research and Academic Building located at 101 Mineola Blvd on the Ground Floor room G-018.
Opportunity for Per Diem, Part Time and Full Time for Various shifts.
Job Opportunities:
Tray Delivery AideDelivers meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients, distributes menus to patients, and collects dirty trays for warewashing.Food Services AidePerforms various duties related to the preparation and service of food to cafeteria, lobby caf , or catering customers, as assigned. Maintains all areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary manner. Restocks all areas with required supplies. Assists in setting up room and/or food displays and serving for catering functions, as needed.Dietary AidePerforms a variety of duties including preparation and/or service of food on the patient trayline, work in the dishroom or potroom, and serving as the porter or kitchen cleaner.Cleans Heavy duty kitchen equipment and facilities (i.e, broilers, ovens, fryers, floors, ice machines, Etc.)Kitchen CleanerCleans Heavy duty kitchen equipment and facilities (i.e, broilers, ovens, fryers, floors, ice machines, Etc.)Note: Candidates will have to pay for parking since there is no parking at the building

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
