Geotab is seeking a Food & Beverage Administrative Support Specialist who will support office operations and administrative tasks. What you'll do:In this role, you will be responsible for managing office expenses, reconciling budgets, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation, along with other clerical and administrative duties. If you have strong attention to detail, this role is perfect for you!
How you'll make an impactMonitor and track office-related expenses using Google Forms and Google Sheets and generate expense reports.
Complete thorough budget reconciliation as needed using Google Forms, Google Sheets, and various vendor platforms.
Develop, update and maintain comprehensive documentation including policies, procedures and records.
Accurately enter and verify data from various sources into the computer system or databases, diligently correcting any discrepancies.
Organize, file and maintain physical and digital paperwork, documents and mail in a systematic and easily accessible manner.
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner, by providing information and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing calls and inquiries, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, clients and vendors.
Prepare outgoing mail and coordinate courier services upon request.
Maintain an organized and well-stocked office environment, including managing and reordering supplies such as janitorial, disposables, food as required and coordinating with vendors.
Provide comprehensive general and administrative support as requested to ensure efficient operation in the office.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the role1-3 years of experience in administrative support and expense tracking or budgeting
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted.
Exercise a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
