THE ROLE          

This Food and Beverage Operations Manager reports to the General Manager. The F&B Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting with the overall management of the Food & Beverage operation in the venue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

People and product focused hands on management of day to day operations of all beverage locations. Implements and enforces all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Assures staff compliance with all standards, policies, and procedures. Managing associates utilizing the beverage team through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development. Administers corrective counseling process, training and development, appraisals, payroll accountability. Work on menu creation, costing, sourcing, and maintaining financial responsibility for the menu mix. Analyze menu and beverage costs and the preparation of cost and quality efficient menus/specials. Prepare reports regarding beverage and menu analysis. Prepare with the GM and controller annual budgets and ensure all fiscal responsibilities are met.  Manage and coordinate food and beverage outlets to ensure all guests receive prompt service and high quality food and beverage items.  Responsible for managing, ordering, and maintaining correct inventory levels.  Direct and oversee schedules for all hourly staff to guarantee proper payroll and management.  Develop warehousing plan to assure easy access and accountability of merchandise.  Maintain product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating customer concerns.  Recommend and maintain preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of Legends.  Implement and maintain effective communication with the client and all employees.  Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction.  Implement and ensure accurate information entered into POS systems, able to troubleshoot.  Manage in compliance with established Legends’ policies and procedures.  Ensure all cash handling procedures are always in effect.  Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.  Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage management experience required. Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task. Ability to interact with all levels of management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with scheduling preferred. Knowledge of POS systems Must be available to work extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays (as business needs require). COMPENSATION
