Compensation: Starting at $55,000 per year
SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for daily operations and oversight of all Food and Beverage Front of the House Outlets, including Casino Floor Service, Bar Services, Hotel Room Service, and Retail Outlets. Coordinate and supervise the daily operations, staffing, performance and production. Motivate, train and inspire team members to excel in their positions. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization’s policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP’s, and any other related training. Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner. Help guide and inspire exceptional team performance and mentor managers, supervisors, and team members. Monitor Guest satisfaction regarding food and beverage offerings and communicate data to the Director of Food & Beverage. Direct the planning and training for each Team Member in each outlet. Help develop and maintain each department’s budget and monitor the flow of revenue and expenditures. Maintain adherence to all applicable Tribal, Federal, and State Health Department policies and laws for safety, sanitation and food preparation and storage. Monitor costs routinely and accurately and implement controls as required. Ensure correct staffing levels according to business needs, budget and industry standards that are not exceeded budget without prior consultation. Ensure stock is purchased and inventoried regularly. Maintain knowledge of Local, State, and Federal gaming laws and regulations, as well as, internal controls, policies, and procedures. Attend all management meetings and other meetings as assigned. Resolve Guest complaints in a prompt and courteous manner and keep Director advised. Circulate throughout all outlets maintaining a high profile with Guests and staff. Participate in departmental and Strategic Planning as directed. Responsible for hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating Team Members with concurrence of the Director of Hospitality, the Director of Human Resources, and/or Chief Financial Officer or General Manager Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.The list of essential job functions is illustrative of the minimums ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field and at least 4 years of experience in managing daily operations of multiple food and beverage outlets with 2 years of bar service and management knowledge or an equivalent combination of education, experience, or training. High School diploma or GED is required. Mid-level computer proficiencies, specifically Microsoft Office, internal business software and related products. Basic knowledge of budgeting. Knowledge of gaming industry policies and practices preferred.REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

This position has supervisory responsibilities for assigned Food & Beverage outlets.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Must maintain a current Food Handlers certification and Alcohol Server Certification. Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming License is required. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements. Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test.
