We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our fantastic team. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will work alongside one of the most professional Food & Beverage teams in the country and be exposed to a wide range of food styles from our daily changing menu. In your role you will be responsible for delivering the highest level of service and supporting your team while on shift.
What you will do
You will have an effective presence on the floor, ensuring that all restaurant services are seamlessly delivered and to train our team to meet our world-class fine dining standards. In addition you will -
Manage and adapt to individual guest requests and preferencesEnsure dining areas are prepared to LQA standards prior to each service Attend the daily Service briefings, to ensure you are knowledgeable about our daily changing menus Training and teaching team members on service standardsUsing our POS system, ensuring accurate transactionsWorking alongside the kitchen team to maintain a cohesive service Work different shifts covering breakfast and lunch or dinner servicesMake coffees, cocktails and serve other beverages (including wine)Provide an exceptional service through your knowledge and passion for delivering a memorable dining experienceWhat you will bring
In addition to your immaculate presentation, charming smile and positive attitude, you will:
A background in fine dining and wine service is preferredPrevious senior level Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5 star properties Excellent wine knowledge and relevant qualificationsAbility to train and grow a team of mixed skill levelsKnowledge and experience with Hospitality Management systems Strong and effective communication skills Ability to work accurately in a fast paced and dynamic environmentA team player who is caring, flexible and respectfulReliable, honest and engaged with excellent attention to detailAnd a winning personality, with the ability to surprise and delightPlease note this is a permanent role and you must be able to work on a permanent contract or commit for longer than 1 year.
