Job DescriptionTo ensure proper training and supervision of all associates, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Have full knowledge of all menus and beverage menusHave full knowledge of responsible alcohol serviceProper setup and breakdown of area and service stationProvide the highest quality guest interactions - be pleasant, friendly and polite to everyoneMulti-task several guests and duties at once, maintaining the highest levels of serviceTake food and beverage orders from guestsEnter in orders to the computer ensuring accuracy and timelinessManage walk-up and seated guests appropriatelyPrepare beverages for servers from printed ticketsFollow service standards and best practices at all timesDemonstrate excellent teamwork with internal associatesResponsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall managementDemonstrate excellent teamwork with associatesMust have excellent math skillsDemonstrate full working knowledge of POS systemMaintain a clean and safe work environmentBe pleasant, smile, and greet all guests, using guest names when obtainedAssist in overall supervision of the departmentCheck staff punctualityMust have sense of urgency throughout entire shiftHandle guest comments and complaintsStay on the floor during operating hoursCommunicate with guests and receive feedbackObserve, teach, and correct associates' serviceAssist manager with schedule, forecast, payroll, email, Kronos, Medallia, MOSPerform any other duties assigned by Management/ChefComplete daily requisitons from purchasingComplete monthly beverage inventoryAssist in scheduling as neededCoordinate to ensure compliance in all property and corporate food and beverage initiatives Qualifications Previous Supervisor experience highly preferredMust have bartending experienceMust be knowledgeable of wines, beer and liquorMust have state issued Manager/Supervisor's Food Handler's CertificationAble to stand for extended periods of timeAble to work long hours/shiftsAble to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds occasionallyAble to walk, sit, stand, squat, reach, and lean in the course of daily businessAble to carry and balance oval and cocktail traysAble to push purchasing carts for a distance.Must have TIPS certification.Must have ServSafe Food Handlers CertificationMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
