**Quality Inspection/Control Worker for Food Production Facility** Must be comfortable working around cold-storage units! **Job Description** Aerotek is seeking a Quality Control candidate to help support the production team in the crafting of premium frozen desserts, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of excellence and consistency. This position is ideally a day shift position starting at 19$HR and has great room for advancement/pay increases. There may be the potential to work an occasional Saturday depending on the timing of inspections/audits. Those interested should have good tenure, demonstration of working in food production/quality control and be comfortable with technology. We are seeking team players and those who are safety focused with the ability to improve processes and communicate with entire interdepartmental teams. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the preparation and production of ice cream, including packaging and storage. + Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of plant facilities, including machinery, equipment, and building interiors. + Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Participate in control and tracking programs to maintain product consistency and adherence to specifications. + Provide input to help implement improvements to the production process. + Meet production goals and assist in packaging products for shipping. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Understanding and applying food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the safety of food products. + Clear and effective communication to work well with team members and report any issues promptly. + Ability to juggle various tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. + Analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise. + Collaborating effectively with others to meet production goals. + Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks over long periods. + Reliability in completing tasks and adhering to production schedules. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in food production or manufacturing processes is preferred. + Knowledge of systems and standards related to food safety and regulatory compliance. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract to hire opportunity, offering stability and potential for long-term employment. **Work Environment** You will be working in an ice cream manufacturing facility, handling general production tasks, machine operation, inspection, and packing.
