Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Operations Manager 1  for Lowell General Hospital located in Lowell, MA.  In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager 2, and be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 8 hospital employees.  The schedule for this role will be 12:00pm - 8:30pm, including rotational weekend coverage every other weekend.

With two primary campuses located in Lowell, Massachusetts, Lowell General Hospital offers the latest state-of-the-art technology and a full range of medical and surgical services for patients, from newborns to seniors.

 

The successful candidate will:

coordinate all required tasks, and managing scheduling through frontline staffdeliver high quality food services including retail, patient meal management, and cateringachieve company and client financial targets and goalsensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standardshave daily interaction with fellow managers and clinical team to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
