Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to lead our team at Fort Stewart MEDCOM hospital in Hinesville, GA. The Food Operations Manager will assist in directing all food service operations, including, training, team building, scheduling and purchasing at this highly structured, high profile account. 

 

The Ideal candidate will have a culinary background and operational management or general manager experience from healthcare food service environment with patient and retail operations experience.

What You'll Do Direct daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met;manage patient and retail operationsdeliver high quality food service;Implements and fully utilizes all Sodexo tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes; develop and maintain client and customer relationships; and/or develop and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan; What We Offer

What You Bring have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; Ensures Sodexo and Army performance expectations are met;Ensures compliance TB Med 530 Tri Service Food Code;have 3-5 years of Healthcare food service experience in a management position.Has an understanding of HACCP, and Sodexo, NSF Standards; and/or.  Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
